Similar to screen printing, the risograph process uses separate printed layers for each colour. The colour is additive, so when colour layers overlap, a new colour is formed. Plus, the printing process is finicky, leaving registrations loose, and ensuring each print is totally unique! Here are my experiments with risograph prints and posters.
