In preparation for my first ever artist market appearance, I decided to make a poster highlighting some of my favourite downtown spots in my hometown of St. Catharines. I also used this opportunity to experiment with risograph printing. Risograph prints are unique in that you can layer inks to create new colours – similar to screen-printing. In this 2-colour print, I layered pink and blue to create purple shadows, and I absolutely love how it turned out.
