This illustration is of Beamsville District Secondary School, which sadly is going to be closing in the next few years. It’s an absolutely beautiful building, with a huge set of steps and four imposing columns at the front.
I did a little bit of tweaking to make the building more visible – normally there’s some huge trees blocking the front – and this is a more muted palette than my usual pink and blue. These will be two-colour risograph prints, just like my downtown St. Catharines prints.
