I’ve listened to The Monster Mash (by Bobby “Boris” Pickett) so many times, that whenever I hear it, I no longer pay attention to the melody, but instead ponder some of the more peculiar lyrics.
For example – who is Dracula’s son? Why was it so important to include him in the song, only to have him never mentioned again? Who is Dracula’s wife? Why couldn’t Dracula get a babysitter? So many questions.
