I love being close to water – doesn’t matter where it is. Growing up in Port Dalhousie, the lake, piers and lighthouse were ever-present. On my little excursion to Port Maitland, my favourite thing to do was hop on my bike, and ride out to the lighthouse at the end of the pier. I based this illustration off of a photo I took during one of those rides. The perfectly clear blue sky with only the lighthouse in frame. Calm and serene.
