Robo Mart. A legendary Fort Erie spot. Equal parts gas station, convenience store and fast food joint. Hell, Matty Matheson has name dropped the chicken finger subs on numerous occasions across multiple shows, documentaries and videos. A place so near and dear to the hearts of Fort Erie residents that I made not one but TWO different flags to commemorate it. Commemorate is all I can do, unfortunately, as Robo Mart has now closed. What makes it even sadder (at least for me) is that I never made the trek to visit. I had so many opportunities to go – I lived not 5 minutes away for years – but for whatever reason I kept putting it off. Hopefully, these two massive all-felt flags can fill the submarine sandwich and soft serve ice cream holes in my heart.
