Fountains of Wayne – one of my top artists for 2021!
Like many, Stacy’s Mom was my introduction to this band, but they are so so much more. I went on a big power pop kick this year, and these fellas do it better than almost anyone. Sadly, Adam Schlesinger – co-founder and one of the principal songwriters – passed away in 2020 due to COVID. A huge loss, and a sobering reminder about just how awful this virus can be.
