Ginger Root put out another incredible EP this year, focusing on real-life self-doubt and “imposter syndrome” in a made up situation (having to step in for a Japanese pop star at the last second on national TV). Super fun from beginning to end, but the standout track for me is the Masayoshi Takanaka flavoured Over the Hill. Depending on your perspective and situation, this could be a sunrise or a sunset. I hope the sun is rising for you.
