Album: Lucifer on the Sofa

Every time Spoon drops an album, it’s an event. Their previous album – Hot Thoughts – was atmospheric and electronic, but Lucifer on the Sofa was a return to the stripped down sound off their early albums. Absolutely solid from beginning to end, but this line from the orchestrally augmented Satellite really stuck out to me. It deserved to sit amongst the stars.
